Botox for Your Home: Occupied Staging, Quick Fixes That'll Have Buyers Fighting Over Your Property

Updated: Sep 5

Ever tried selling your home while still living in it? Yeah, it's a bit like hosting a party in your pajamas.

That's where I come in, armed with sustainable design tricks and a knack for making lived-in spaces look magazine-worthy.

Recently, I teamed up with Kris Sylvester, a green-living guru and real estate whiz in Brooklyn and the U.K” . Our mission? Turn a cozy (read: cluttered) home into a buyer's dream without losing its soul with occupied staging. We worked magic with what was there, sprinkled in some eco-friendly pixie dust, and voila!

Game Plan:

  • Focus on smart storage solutions, particularly in the kitchen,

  • Implement quick and affordable upgrades, fresh paint, new hardware, plants, art shift and decorative pillows.

  • Rearranging furniture to optimize room layouts.

  • Made a dedicated dining area.

  • BEDROOM: splash of paint, updated window treatments, swapped out some rugs,

  • added luxurious silk fan headboard and added soft textural neutral linens and decor.

The result? 1) A space that whispers "Buy me!" without shouting "Someone else lives here!" 2) This got an offer for asking price within 3 weeks of listing.

Reloved didn't just stage a home; we set the stage for its next chapter. And the best part? The owner can still find her socks in the morning. Check out the transformative work below.
